Confidentiality

​

All clients will be asked to agree to and sign a confidentiality and payment  contract before beginning counselling. 

​

Information about what is discussed in sessions remains confidential.

 

If however you give the counsellor information that indicates a threat to your own health, life or that of another, that information must be reported to an appropriate person.

​

Coronavirus contingency clause, confidentiality will be broken if necessary for reasons of public interest in the area of public health.

​

If instructed by the Police or Courts I may have to pass on some information.

​

If the counsellor needs to consult with another professional or a third party you will be informed of this beforehand if possible.

​

All notes from your sessions are kept separately from contact details in order to protect your confidentiality.

 

Terms & Conditions

It is expected that the 50-minute sessions will begin at the agreed time. The counsellor will start the session at the agreed time.

If you are late starting the session for whatever reason, the session will still end at the agreed time.

 If you do not enter the session at the agreed time, I will try 2 more times to contact you by email and Txt. I will wait 15mins, if there is no contact from you and you have not informed me you will be late, I will then end the session.

You will still be charged for this session.

 

Payment of £60 is due at least 24hrs before the start of each  session . Payment via BACS  or  Pay Pal for telephone, Internet / Skype / Zoom/ Teams and e-mail sessions.

If you need to cancel your session and/or rearrange, please ring the Counsellor as soon as possible to advise.

 

Cancellations should be made with at least 24 hours working days notice; otherwise I will need to charge for the missed session.

​

If you choose to not attend your session without cancelling, that session will also be charged at the regular rate.

 

Payment to be made 24hrs in advance on-line by BACS or pay pal.

​

If you wish to end your sessions, please let the counsellor know at the first opportunity.

​

It is expected that all clients attend sessions free from the influence of alcohol or non-prescribed drugs.

​

We agree to adhere to the above contract.
